Chicken Chow Mein

Lets talk Chinese Food. Earlier last week we ordered delivery from Medicine Hat Buffet. This wasn't our first time ordering here, and we're never disappointed. See the menu here.

This time we chose the Sesame Chicken, Sweet and Sour Chicken Balls, and Chicken Chow Mein (dinner for three). Chicken Fried Rice and Egg Rolls come with it. This is enough for us to eat three times really unless we are extremely hungry when the order arrives. The portions are great. The Sweet and Sour sauce comes in its own container so the chicken balls are not soggy when they arrive. I love their rice. Altogether with out-of-town delivery (but not tip), it was less than $40.00. Not bad at all.

Oh yeah! The different dishes are packaged in the nicest take out containers. Black plastic bottoms with snap on clear lids. Rectangular in shape and heavier plastic, not the cheap kind. I actually keep them. They make great storage containers for leftovers or frozen meals.

The buffet in the restaurant is always good as well. I prefer the Sunday lunch buffet since it includes breakfast items as well, but really, the selection is good for any meal.

Until tomorrow
